I very nice shop in the lovely part of the forest very friendly service and will go back again.
One of my favourite places in the world. The cider is amazing. Cheese skons with tea my favourite brunch.
Really disappointed since there wasn't much to see, the staff weren't that welcoming and I didn't like the cider.I've tried farm cider at plenty of other holiday locations and have always enjoyed it. But to me, the New Forest cider tasted partly oxidised, just like my own worst home-brew that has gone wrong. Perhaps I was unlucky and my batch was not typical, but I've never had to pour purchased cider down the drain. Hopefully I was just unlucky, but I'll not be going back to find out.
Really disappointed with new forest cider. Stopped off for a quick bite but had to wait nearly an hour for a toasted sandwich that was over toasted, dry with not much filing. Our drinks were strangely just left on the table next to us when the waitress brought them to us. The coffee was more like warm milk with the slightest hint of coffee. All that was topped off by the price. 25 for two coffees and 2 toasted sandwiches. Probably wouldn't go back.
The Cider Pantry: best ever cheese scone. Strong contender for best ever chips. Superb veggie pattie in a bun. Cheaper than expected, even before experiencing the quality of the food. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good veggie and vegan choices.
