We have been going to this butchers now for many months and I have to say I most definitely would never go anywhere else for my meat. As it's first class all the way spotlessly clean the meat is undercover so it can't be got at by flies etc or coughed sneezed all over which is worth 5 stars in my book and the meat has always been brilliant never had anything that was not up to scratch and it's all sourced locally so no foreign imports to be found here. So I would highly recommend the butchers and the staff that work there are the best.
Currently running under a new name of Shappen Stores. It stocks plenty of local produce including Beers and Spirits, Jams, biscuits and of course Locally sourced meat cut by its own in house Butcher, with fresh Bread delivered daily and all the essentials you would need. With a friendly welcome what more could you want?
Just changed ownership. Fresh bread and an amazing butcher in store. Opening hours are now better too, open till 7pm.
